As an organization, our Board believes in the potential growth and opportunity in the Acadiana area. The Nehemiah Projects of Acadiana provides a range of social services to empower individuals and families in underserved communities. These services focus on education, workforce development, and financial literacy, helping community members achieve self-sufficiency and long-term success.

Social Services Provided:

• Educational Support & HiSET Completion
• Partnership with VITA to assist individuals in earning their HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) degree.
• Guidance and mentorship for those seeking higher education opportunities.
• Workforce Development & Skilled Training
• Our Pathways Forward program provides connections with mentors that give skilled training in various industries.
• Assistance with career planning and professional development to increase employability.
